Love this,cause it`s a puzzler,and it has happned about 5 times too. Got my art set up at a Con,casually cruising waiting to hear comments about my stuff(Fun, and a good way to learn what works...or not).Anyhoo,someone looking at my display notices the ARTIST ribbon on my badge,and asks"where is YOUR art?" "You`re standing in front of it."says yours truly....."REALLY?... We LOVE this, but we thought a GUY did these!"Headdesk! Apparently a GIRL ain`t supossed to make REALISTIC(admittidly odd sometimes),anatomically thought out beasties....BWAHAHA.Maybe Pink bid sheets next go? *snork* L.(Oh and ONE rant. Any of you artists have a hard time collecting payment for art? Good Gawd I`m owed $$$.Bout to call a collection agency on one!

FIVE TIMES? Geez. That's crazy. Boo on sexism. The art community is so diverse, it really surprises me. Many extremely well known fantasy female artists lean towards realism. Who knows!

Whereabouts were these cons? I've only done West Coast cons... maybe the culture is different in various parts of the country.
